얼음 비(Freezing Rain) 속에서도 시험 열기 후끈 -제57회 TOPIK, 토론토대 등 4곳에서 시행- □ 주토론토총영사관 캐나다한국교육원은 지난 4월 14일(토) 토론토대학교를 비롯한 토론토 지역 4곳에서 제57회 한국어능력시험(이하 TPOIK)이 시행되었다고 밝혔다. □ 이번 TOPIK은 토론토대학교를 비롯한 토론토카톨릭 소속 2개 고등학교와 해밀턴 지역 고등학교에서도 동시에 진행되었다. □ TOPIK은 한국인 및 외국인, 남녀노소에 관계없이 누구나 응시할 수 있는 시험이자, 자신의 한국어능력을 공식적으로 측정해볼 수 있는 시험이다. 특히, 재외동포 청소년들의 경우 한국방문 및 장학금 지원에 필수이므로 꼭 3급 이상의 등급을 받아두는 것이 유리하다. □ 한편, 이번 TOPIK에 응시한 Adam Tasker 씨는 한국의 고려대학교에 진학하고자 시험에 응시하였다고 하였으며, 올해 반드시 한국으로 유학을 가겠다는 의지를 밝혔다. □ 다음 TOPIK은 11월에 시행될 예정이며, 8월에 공고를 할 예정이다.
