The Korea Times will hold its 3rd Korean Language Speaking Contest.

To thank the participants who showed incredible passion for Korean language last year, we're back and bigger than ever, featuring a larger prize pool and a Korea Times internship opportunity.


[Contest Info]

• Application period: Feb. 26-May 7

• Announcement of Winners: May 26

• Eligibility: Foreign nationals and overseas Koreans whose native language is not Korean


[Categories]

• Speaking: Free topic or "My favorite K is..?" (Long-form / Short-form)

• Pronunciation: Korean tongue-twister challenge


[How to Apply]

1. Upload your video to your SNS (YouTube/TikTok/Instagram, etc.) with the required hashtags

2. Submit the online application form and paste your video link on the application page


[Benefits]

• Total prize pool: KRW 12,000,000 / 20 winners

• Summer internship opportunity at The Korea Times (available to award winners only)

• Certificate of participation available upon request
