2026 Global Korea Scholarship (GKS-U) Program for Undergraduate Degrees

The Global Korea Scholarship (GKS-U) offers international students the opportunity to study at higher education institutions in Korea, enhancing global educational exchange and fostering mutual friendship between Korea and participating countries.

We are pleased to announce that two Canadian nationals (one Canadian, one overseas Korean) will be selected to participate in the “2026 Global Korea Scholarship Program for International Students for an Undergraduate Degree” in Korea. The program includes one year of Korean language training followed by a 4-6 year degree program.

Application Process: Online application through the Study in Korea website (www.studyinkorea.go.kr)

Application Deadline: Tuesday, September 31st 18:00, 2025 ※ All times are based on Korean Standard Time (KST)

Apostille Convention Notice: As of January 11, 2024, Canada has joined the Convention Abolishing the Requirement of Legalization for Foreign Public Documents ("Apostille Convention").
