South Korea: Summer Program for University Students
The Korean Education Centre is proud to sponsor and promote the Summer Program at the Seoul National University of Education (SNUE) and Pusan National University (PNU). With support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Korean Education Centre, this Summer Program introduces University students in Toronto to South Korea and Korean culture. Students are eligible to have this course transferred back to their University degree as a Letter of Permission (3.0 credits).
SNUE: Introduction to Korean Society and Culture
Program Dates: June 25 to July 6, 2019 at SNUE, Seoul, South Korea Program Fee: $1,500 Includes:
Accommodation on SNUE campus
(dormitory style: Two students per bedroom & Shared bathroom (by gender)) Welcome lunch Lunch provided for whole day field trips "SNUE BUDDY" with students from SNUE
All cultural site visits: - DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) - Namsan Korean Village & Seoul Tower - National Museum - Kimchi Museum - Canadian Embassy in Korea - SNUE Elementary School - Gyeongbok Palace - Namdaemon Market - K-Pop Centre

Politics, History, and Culture in Korea
Program Dates: July 8 to July 19, 2019 at PNE, Pusan, South Korea
Program Fee: $1,700
Includes: Accommodation on PNE campus (dormitory style) Two students per bedroom Shared bathroom (by gender) Breakfast and dinner included (no lunch)
All cultural site visits: Gyeongju City Haeunbae Beach

English will be the language of instruction for the course Students are invited to complete one or both courses (SNUE & PNU), at the cost of $1,500 for SNUE & $1,700 for PNU If studying both courses students responsible to travelling from Seoul to Pusan at their own expense.
Students are responsible for paying for airfare, personal spending and LOP fees.
