On Wednesday, December 17, 2025, Lee Ji-eun, Head of the Korean Education Centre in Canada, attended the 2025 conference organized by the Canadian Association of Korean Teachers (CATK). During the conference, she exchanged views on Korean language teaching methods and practical examples. In particular, the event was especially meaningful as it included the final review of the revised edition of Becoming a Teacher in Canada .

The 2025 KSAC University Fair was held on Saturday, November 29. Lee Ji-eun, Director of the Korean Education Centre in Canada, met with student representatives from ten major universities in Ontario and expressed her appreciation for their efforts. The “2025 KSAC (Korean Student Association of Canada) University Fair” provides local high school students and parents interested in applying to Canadian universities with information on admissions, academic programs, and campus life. Admissions officers and student associations from ten major Ontario universities participated, offering practical guidance for students preparing for university applications and study plans.

Lee Ji-eun, Director of the Korean Education Centre in Canada, attended the Canadian Korean Educators’ Network (KCEN) on Friday, November 28. In her keynote speech on “Core Values for Educators in the AI Era,” Director Lee highlighted the roles educators need to fulfill in a rapidly changing educational landscape and proposed key values to strengthen teachers’ professional competencies. To support the active research efforts of Korean-Canadian teachers, initiatives such as the establishment of specialized research groups will continue, alongside ongoing attention and support.
