[The Academy of Korean Studies] 2027 Special Admission Guidelines for the Graduate School of Korean Studies

The Graduate School of Korean Studies at the Academy of Korean Studies, a public institution under the Ministry of Education of Korea, is recruiting new students for the 2027 Special Admission as follows.

■ Degree Programs

Master’s or Doctoral Degree Program

■ Fields of Study

13 majors in Korean-related humanities and social sciences

■ Scholarships for International Students and Overseas Koreans

- Full tuition waiver for the entire study period for all admitted students

- 15 newly admitted students will receive a Korean Government Scholarship for one year, including a monthly living stipend of KRW 800,000

■ Application Period

- 2027 Spring Special Admission (Admission Date: March 1, 2027): August 31 – September 18, 2026

- 2027 Fall Special Admission (Admission Date: September 1, 2027): March 8 – 19, 2027
