The Korean Education Affairs Section (Jee Eun Lee) participated in the Asian Heritage Showcase held at Brebeuf College School and operated a variety of Korean cultural experience programs together with the student teachers from Kongju National University.
During the event, students had the opportunity to experience Korean culture firsthand through various activities, including writing their names in Korean and participating in traditional Korean games such as ttakji-chigi, jegi-chagi, and gonggi. In addition, a special hands-on activity allowed students to try on the traditional Korean hat, gat, providing them with an opportunity to learn more about Korea’s traditional culture.
Students actively participated in each activity and were able to naturally experience and better understand Korean culture. In particular, the traditional games attracted significant interest and contributed to a lively and engaging atmosphere throughout the event.
Approximately 150 teachers and students attended the event, which served as a meaningful opportunity to further promote interest in and understanding of Korean culture through diverse cultural experiences.
