▶ Introduction to Sungkyunkwan University
Did you know that Sungkyunkwan University has a history spanning over 600 years? Sungkyunkwan University was founded at the beginning of the Joseon Dynasty in 1398 as the highest national educational institute in the early years of the Joseon Dynasty in Korea.
Today, Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) continues to foster leaders and an innovative university culture and has been ranked as:
ASIA TOP 10 University (THE ASIA Rankings) in 2019 and 2020
WORLD TOP 100 University (THE WORLD University Rankings) in 2019 and 2020
